The University area amounts to around 200 hectares, and is organized in 14 departments and 13 interdepartmental centers, with around 170 classrooms frequented by more than 14,500 persons. The University provides 77 degree courses and 2 specialization schools, and owns the largest library in Southern Italy, with more than 390,000 volumes and 660 workstations. The Residential Center of the University has around 3,000 beds and 1,300 canteen seats, and serves more than 3,500 meals per day. The Art Music Entertainment Center organizes more than 30 events per year, including concerts, film festivals, and theater. The Sport Center offers more than 25 courses. Other structures in the University are the Museum of Natural History of Calabria and Botanical Garden, the Paleontology Museum, the Museum for the Environment Rimuseum, the Zoology Museum, and the Linguistic University Center.
The Workshops, Autumn School, Doctoral Consortium, and satellite events will be hosted by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Calabria (Buildings 30–31B).
All activities will take place on the second floor of the department’s buildings, offering a dedicated and easily accessible space for the entire program. The venue is conveniently reachable via the pedestrian bridge that connects the central bus stop to all university buildings (see map below).
PPDP and LOPSTR will be hosted at the Technical and Scientific Area Library (BATS) and the Ezio Tarantelli Library of Economic and Social Sciences (TAR) — two elegant and culturally rich venues that will provide a beautiful and inspiring setting for the conferences.
The conference rooms are within walking distance from the University’s main bus stop (A). To the left of the stop, you’ll see the university entrance—a long, two-level bridge that connects various buildings (called “cubi”). Simply get off the bus and enter the bridge. Walk straight ahead until you reach a glass-fronted structure that intersects the bridge—this is the Rectorate and Library area. Here you will find the University Club (B) (hosting ICLP) and the Library rooms (C-D) (hosting PPDP-LOPSTR). Continue along the bridge until you reach Cubo 30B, which houses the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, where the ICLP workshops and satellite events take place (E).
Signage will be available throughout the path to help guide you to the various rooms.
