The nearest airport is Lamezia Terme Airport (SUF), approximately 60 Km from the University. There are trains and buses from Lamezia Terme Airport to Rende. The trip takes from one to two hours and the single fare ranges from 7 EUR to 30 EUR. The nearest train station is Castiglione Cosentino and many trains are daily available from other Italian cities. Timetable details from www.trenitalia.com. Hotels in Quattromiglia are at walking distance from this Train station.
A bus stop is available just in front of the Train Station (see below "From Quattromiglia to the conference location").

Drive on the A2 motorway and exit at Cosenza Nord - Rende, and you are in Quattromiglia, then follow the road signs indicating the directions to reach the University of Calabria in 5 minutes (route in gmaps here).

A bus shuttle from the hotels listed in this page to the location of the conference will be available during the days of the conference. There will be one bus in the morning before the start of the conference and one bus in the afternoon after the end of the conference.
The campus is served by Consorzio Autolinee lines 136 and 138 from Rende and Cosenza. The campus bus terminal is located near CUBO 0B. Lines to Rende start from gates 1 and 2, and lines to Cosenza start from gates 2 and 3. Tickets may be bought at the box office close to the terminal. By Car just follow the road signs indicating the directions to reach the University of Calabria in about 5 minutes (assuming there is no traffic jam), to have an idea click the route in gmaps from the A2 motorway exit of Cosenza Nord - Rende.
